Bottle Buy-Back

Return your bottle, get your deposit back

A refundable deposit of Rs 10 is collected on every bottle covered by the scheme. When the empty bottle is returned, that deposit comes straight back to the customer.

How it works

  1. Bring the empty bottle to a collection point.
  2. Show your UPI QR code, or tell the operator your UPI ID.
  3. Each bottle is scanned using the code printed on its label.
  4. The screen shows how many bottles were accepted and the total amount due.
  5. The money is sent to your UPI ID, and the bottle codes are then closed so the same bottle cannot be claimed twice.

Every payment can be traced

Each collection is recorded with its location, time and reference number. If a payment does not arrive, quote the reference shown on the screen to admin@goinstagood.com and we will complete it. Bottle codes stay valid until the refund has actually been paid, so a failed payment never costs the customer their bottle.

Where this is used

The service supports deposit return schemes for empty beverage containers, including the empty bottle return scheme operated by TASMAC in Tamil Nadu, under which a Rs 10 deposit is refunded to the customer when an empty bottle is returned.
